Mill produces a smart kitchen bin for recycling food waste into nutrient-rich flour that can feed your garden, your backyard chickens or you can contact one of Mill's local partners for delivery to independent farms. Recycling is implemented through grinding and heating to 100°C. The flour can be unloaded once every one or two weeks. An odor filtration system made from recycled coconut shells prevents any odors and it operates quietly at a noise level of 41 decibels. Smart sensors and adaptive algorithms tell the bin when and how long to run - even if you add food in mid-cycle. Using the mobile app, you can set a lid lock to prevent access by pets and children, track cycles and view analytics on the volume of food waste recycled and carbon emissions avoided. The bin is available in premium design to complement any kitchen or office.
