Renasens has developed a waterless textile recycling solution designed to convert mixed textile waste into high-quality fibers, supporting circular material use in the fashion industry. Its platform uses modified supercritical CO₂, a state in which carbon dioxide exhibits properties of both a liquid and a gas, to decolor and separate blended textiles. The process enables the recovery of intact fibers without depolymerization, toxic chemicals, or water use. The recovered fibers can be directly reintroduced into existing spinning and manufacturing infrastructure without requiring reformulation or new equipment. The system is modular and designed for deployment within existing facilities, rather than relying on large centralized plants.

H2 Green Steel is building a steel production plant (in Boden, northern Sweden) that reduces the iron ore into green iron using 100% green hydrogen with near-zero emission. The heart of the plant is giga-scale electrolyzer, powered by renewable electricity (instead of coal) that splits water into its constituent parts: hydrogen and oxygen. Then in the reduction reactor the hydrogen reacts with oxygen in the iron ore, transforming the iron ore into sponge iron and producing (environmentally friendly) water steam. In the melt shop the iron is charged into an electric arc furnace, where it is mixed with steel scrap. It is then melted with a powerful electrode and alloys are added in a ladle furnace. The molten steel is transformed into solid products.

SaltX Technology has developed an electric CO2 separation technology for direct CO2 capture from air in high-temperature industries, including quicklime and cement production. This electric calcination technology uses electric plasma to replace fossil-driven heating with renewable electricity. The mineral solution used in direct carbon dioxide capture (DAC) is carbonated after binding with CO2 from the air. This carbonate solution can be regenerated during the electric calcination process, separating and isolating the CO2 for further use or geological storage. The EAC (electric arc calciner) is adaptable to various industries. Through seamless integration into DAC systems it makes the release and collection of pure CO2 more efficient. The company has already launched a 1.4 MW pilot plant producing 17 tons of carbon per day.

DREV creates the Vault system, designed to collect and recover metal dust (known as "black dust") produced during battery production and recycling - particles that can present health and safety risks while wasting valuable materials. These particles can impact worker safety, equipment efficiency and material recovery. Vault recovers these materials at the source, enhances air quality and enables the recovery of critical metals such as nickel, cobalt and lithium. DREV's sweep-robots enable effective cleaning and material recovery across floors, walls, ceilings and hard-to-reach corners. At the time when regulations such as the EU Battery Regulation and the Critical Raw Materials Act are increasing standards for sustainability and circularity, DREV's solution becomes even more valuabe for hundreds of gigafactories and recycling plants worldwide.

Vendy is building a used phone collection network based on AI-based kiosks that function like vending machines. User brings their old phone, connect it to the kiosk's Wi-Fi and place it in the booth for evaluation. The machine analyzes the device in just five minutes and immediately provides a binding offer. Using computer vision, it accurately identifies any defects: from minor scratches and cracks on the screen and back glass to even small dents on the case. If the price offer is accepted, the machine instantly transfers payment via the Swish payment system. Collected phones are refurbished and sold on marketplaces or sold to manufacturers for the recovery of useful materials and parts.
