Cority ($100M)
Cority
Sphera ($27M)
Sphera
Cority and Sphera both develop cloud-based enterprise software for managing occupational health and safety, sustainability and compliance in large companies in high-risk industries (energy, chemicals, manufacturing, transport and others). Both solutions integrate data from various sources, generate analytics and reporting, both are actively developing, striving to combine EHS, ESG and risk management modules. In addition to software, both companies provide consulting and maintenance services.

However, Cority (founded in 1985) is a Canadian company initially focused on EHS and occupational health and safety, but later expanded its expertise to ESG. Its CorityOne platform enables automation of quality processes in the supply chain, product quality control. The myCority mobile app allows employees to work in the field, even offline. The system is sometimes criticized for its implementation complexity and limited module configurability.

Sphera (2016) is an American company that grew out of the operational risk division of IHS. Sphera is currently recognized as a leader in ESG reporting and data management. Sphera's platform boasts its own extensive database and a focus on product sustainability analysis (LCA, product declarations). The company has strategic alliances (for example, with PwC) to expand the implementation of ESG solutions.
